Bowery Jazz Messengers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization harnessing the power of jazz to serve and uplift communities.

Founded by LaGuardia High School alumnus and musician/artist Bato Aydelotte, we perform live at New York City’s Bowery Mission and other organizations that support our neighbors in need.

Our program empowers high school musicians to grow musically under the mentorship of top NYC music professionals. Through rehearsals, workshops, and creative collaborations, young musicians develop leadership, teamwork, and musicianship skills.

With every live performance, we aim to inspire hope and build community—using the vibrant art of jazz to make a meaningful impact.
