Bowery Jazz Messengers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization harnessing the power of jazz music to serve and uplift communities. Founded by LaGuardia High School alumnus, musician/artist Bato Aydelotte, we perform live at New York City's Bowery Mission and other organizations supporting our neighbors in need. Our program empowers high school musicians to grow musically under the mentorship of top NYC music professionals, led by musician/producer Chris Theberge. Through live performances, we aim to inspire hope and build community while fostering leadership, teamwork, and musical skills in our young participants with rehearsals, workshops, and creative collaborations.
